Tumakuru: The Siddaganga Mutt is scheduled to hold Samsmaranotsava, marking the 11th day of 111-year-old Sri Shivakumara Swamiji’s demise, on February 3.

It is gathered that Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, former CM BS Yeddyurappa among others will be invited for the event.

Meanwhile, despite the chilly weather, the people from north Karnataka who could not have the glimpse of the seer during the funeral stayed overnight till the Gadduge was thrown open for darshan after seers performed rituals.

The 111-year old head of the Siddaganga Mutt in Karnataka, known as ‘Walking God’ among his countless followers, passed away on Monday, January 21 after a prolonged illness.
