Dr Tejaswini Ananth Kumar to debut from Bangalore South?

Bengaluru: With the Lok Sabha elections schedule declared, the BJP has planned to field Dr Tejaswini Ananth Kumar, wife of late Union Minister H N Ananth Kumar from  Bangalore South constituency.

It is gathered that BJP leader R Ashok will be holding a meeting on Monday evening with the corporators of Bengaluru South constituency and then take a final decision on whether to field Tejaswini Ananth Kumar or not.

The BJP faces a void in Bangalore South, a constituency represented by Ananth Kumar for a record six times, from 1996 till his death a few months ago.
