Dr Veerendra Heggade inaugurates VHP int’l baithak

Mangaluru: Dharamasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade on Friday, December 27 inaugurated the three-day ínternational baithak of Vishwa Hindu Parishad at Sanghanikethan here.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Heggade said that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya will commence soon.
On the issue of religious conversions, Dr Heggade noted that earlier people were converting to other religions in order to find solution for their financial or other problems but owing to empowerment of the people through Grameen Vikas Yojana there has been a decrease in the religious conversions.
Quality education was available only in convent schools in earlier days but now Hindu institutions have made a name for themselves in field of education as well as medicine, he said adding that equal emphasis must be given on imparting knowledge of our traditions.
Pejawara Math Swamiji Vishwa Prasanna Theertha, VHP president Vishnu Sadashiva Kokaje, VHP working president Alok Kumar, VHP working president international Ashok Kumar Chowdary and others were present.
