Driver injured after petrol tanker catches fire

Chitradurga: A petroleum tanker moving from Holalkere to Chikka Jajur caught fire after it turned turtle near Aadanuru village of Chitradurga district. The tanker blasted immediately after it caught fire resulting in the injury of the driver.
Following the accident, the tanker driver was rushed to a hospital in Davangere for treatment.
Holalkere police have registered a complaint and are investigating the incident.
