Drug abuse by medicos: Five medical students, 2 doctors suspended

Mangaluru: Of the persons arrested by police in a drug case, 7 medical students and 2 doctors involved have been suspended.

Mangaluru police commissioner, on Friday, told media that the private medical college and hospital in the city where the accused were studying or working has suspended them.

As many as 15 persons, including doctors and medical students, have been arrested in the case. More people have been arrested on Friday, he added.

The police commissioner added that the head of the private medical college hospital has informed him that those involved in the case from the institute have been suspended.
