Dry run for Covid-19 vaccination to be held in five districts of K’taka on Jan 2

Bengaluru: Prior to launch of the Covid-19 vaccination programme, a dry run for COVID-19 vaccination will be conducted in five districts-Bengaluru, Mysuru, Belagavi, Shivamogga and Kalaburagi, health officials confirmed on Thursday.

The statement read, “In each district, three session sites (one each at district, taluk, and primary health centre levels) are chosen for the dry run. After the dry run, feedback will be collected from those session sites of each district”

It is said that Each site will be manned by five members comprising a medical officer, two vaccinating officers , a data entry operator and a security officer. These five-member teams will undergo training on friday

The feedback collected from each district is likely to be sent to the Centre
