Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara informed that he has advised Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy not to repeatedly talk about resigning from office.
Addressing presspersons here Parameshwara said that the Congress Party will be giving Kumaraswamy full cooperation and liberty to run the government as he wants.
Congress party has no problems with Kumaraswamy and he too should reciprocate accordingly, he added.
Parameshwara further added that a joint meeting of Congress and JD(S) legislators will be convened either on February 6 or 7 ahead of the presentation of budget proposals. Kumaraswamy too will be present and the meeting can serve as a platform to discuss all issues, he informed.
Kumaraswamy, who also holds the finance portfolio, is scheduled to present the budget proposals for 2019-20 on February 8.
On Wednesday, Kumaraswamy had again threatened to resign if Congress leaders continued to take potshots at him.
