Bajpe: A few flights towards Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) were forced to be diverted due to persistent bad weather causing reduced visibility in Mangaluru in the early hours of Sunday, September 2nd.
Three flights had to be diverted from MIA as reduced visibility and bad weather prevented them from landing.
Sources at the airport informed that one flight from Dubai to Mangaluru and one flight from Abu Dhabi to Mangaluru had to be diverted to Coimbatore. An Indigo flight from Bengaluru was also diverted.
However, the weather conditions improved and as of 10.30 am this morning, all flights have resumed as normal.
