Dates helps in lowering high blood pressure because it contains magnesium.  The potassium that is in dates is also helpful, because it helps the heart work more smoothly and reduces blood pressure as well.

Dates contain several minerals, including phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium which helps to prevent bone-related conditions like osteoporosis

Dates contain Vitamin B6 which helps the body create serotonin and norepinephrine and improve your brain health. Serotonin regulates your mood, while norepinephrine battles stress
