‘Egg attack’ on Siddaramaiah: CM Bommai dials Siddaramaiah, collects information

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai dialed former chief minister Siddaramaiah and gathered information on the ‘egg attack’ on the latter’s convoy.
Speaking to the media on Friday, August 19, CM Bommai said, “I’ve dialed Siddaramaiah and asked him if he had received any life threats as reported by some media.”
Further, Bommai said, “The government has taken this matter very seriously and has directed the police officers to give him security cover.”
“I’ve also called the Deputy General of Police and have directed him to maintain law and order”, he added.
