Elder brother kills younger brother over Property dispute

Vijayapura: A man killed his own brother on Thursday over a land dispute at Kakkalameli in Sindagi taluk in the district.

The victim has been identified as Siddarama Shivappa Balabatti. The accused is identified as Ningappa Balabatti.

It is gathered that when Siddarama was coming out of his residence, Ningappa attacked him on his neck with a lethal weapon, killing him on the spot.

The duo had a dispute over land for many years and it has ended up with the murder of Siddarama, informed sources.

A case with this regard has been registered with Sindagi police.
