Engine failure delays Bengaluru-Kannur train

Mangaluru: The Bengaluru-Kannur train was delayed by 6 hours after it suffered an engine failure on Saturday when passing through Soluru.
It is said that the train which departed at 9.30 pm from Bengaluru, was on its way to Kannur. However, as the train neared Soluru, the engine failed due to a technical snag.
The snag was rectified and the train was dispatched after nearly 6 hours.
Due to this, the train which was supposed to reach at 7.10 am, reached Kannur around 12.15 pm. Passengers were majorly inconvenienced due to the delay.
