Engineering student commits suicide at PG

Valachil: An engineering student of a private engineering college in Valachil committed suicide at his paying guest accommodation on Saturday, September 29th. The deceased student has been identified as Sharath Babu (20), a resident of Koramangala in Bengaluru

Sharath was a 3rd semester student of the electronics and communication branch. He committed suicide by hanging at his PG flat near the college. He used to live in the flat with seven of his friends.

On Sunday, Sharath’s friends knocked on his door,but did not get any response. They peeked through a gap and saw him hanging from the roof. They called the police who broke open the door

Following due procedures, the mortal remains of the deceased have been shifted to Wenlock Hospital. Parents of the deceased student have been informed about the incident.

Reason for the suicide is yet to be found out.
