ENVISION-2023, National level Techno-Cultural fest, inaugurated

The inaugural function of ENVISION-2023, National level Techno-Cultural fest was held on March 28 in Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru.

Mrs. Laxmi Shetty, Associate Manager – Talent Acquisition Robosoft Technologies, Udupi was the chief guest. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, the Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, presided over the function. Dr. Ramakrishna Shabaraya, Principal, Srinivas College of Pharmacy was the Guest of Honour.

Mrs. Laxmi Shetty, in her speech to the students emphasized the significance of both organizing and participating in events as a means of enhancing communication, confidence, and leadership abilities. Moreover, she stressed the importance of Techno-Cultural festivals in enabling students to establish their identity in society by showcasing their technical skills and cultural talents.

Dr. Ramakrishna Shabaraya, in his speech highlighted ENVISION as a dream for emerging engineers, providing them with an opportunity to showcase various forms of art and display their talents. Furthermore, he urged students to engage actively in extracurricular activities alongside their academic pursuits, in order to securing positions at reputed companies.

Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, in his presidential address, remarked that Envision continuously introduces new events every year based on students’ innovative ideas to enhance their knowledge. He also commended all the association coordinators and volunteers of Envision 2023 for their enthusiastic participation.

Dr. Prasad P, Professor, Department of Chemistry, Convener of the program briefed about the various activities of Envision which is conducting by different branches of the college. Mr. N Shankar, Organizing Secretary of Envision 2023 welcomed the gathering. Ms Anusha P Nayak, Envision joint secretary introduced the chief guest. Mr. Shelton Francis Cutinha, Student Council President delivered vote of thanks. Ms Richal Mohan and Ms Naaz MN were the master of ceremonies.
