Evidences in Death of IAS Officer Anurag Tiwari Destroyed at His Residence in Bengaluru: Allege Family Members

Bengaluru: In a new twist to the mysterious death of IAS officer Anurag Tiwari, his family members have alleged that some officials from food and civil supplies department were tried to destroy key evidences which may turn into a key evidence inconnection with the mysterious death of their family member.
The family members have alleged that a group of officers from food and civil supplies department were entered into the residence of the IAS officer soon after information on his death made public on May 17, 2017. According to his family sources, a group of officials from his department took away some documents and four golden bangles from his residence located at Sanjaynagar in the state capital.
Alleged destruction of evidences came into light when the mother of the deceased visited his residence in Bengaluru along with CBI officials as part of the investigation into the death of the officer. The family members alleged that, the officials had broken the lock of the almary to steal the evidences of the case.
BN Tiwari, father of the deceased registered a case on the incident at Sanjaynagar police station on August 30 on the loss of evidences and four golden bangles after almary was found broken. Meanwhile, the complainants have also alleged that the local police haven’t take any action on the incident even if they mentioned the name of the suspect who might have stolen the valuables from the residence.
IAS officer Anurag Tiwari had been serving at Karnataka State Food and Civil Supplies Department and was found dead under suspicious circumstances on May 17, 2017 in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh.
