Ex Minister Thippeswamy no more

Bengaluru: Former minister, Thippeswamy died after at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
He was 76 years old and is survived by a son and a daughter.
Thippeswamy played a key role in the establishment of Rajnahalli Valmiki Gurupet and received the Valmiki Prize in 2017.
Thippeswamy had a political career of four decades and had served as Excise Minister in the H.D. Deve Gowda government. He started his political career with the JD(S) and later joined the BJP. He represented Challakere Assembly constituency in Chitradurga district.
BJP State president B.S. Yeddyurappa, B. Sriramulu, MLA, and other senior leaders of the State expressed condolences to the senior leader’s family.
