Ex- Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda Urges Karnataka Govt to Solve All Water Disputes

Belagavi: JDS National President, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda alleged in press conference that, Karnataka state government has failed to take necessary steps to supply sufficient water for drinking and irrigation to support distressed farmers in the state. The leader also stated that two national political parties in Karnataka have failed to take issues related to irrigation, water disputes seriously to end the plight of common man. JDS Supremo was speaking at a press conference in Belagavi on Saturday.

Speaking on Mahadayi water dispute, former prime minister urged three state governments to hold meetings to solve issues related to Mahadayi immediately as water scarcity is turning severe year after year in Karnataka.
