Explosion at pond: Drone Prathap remanded to 10-day judicial custody

Tumakuru: Drone Prathap, who has been in the limelight for various reasons after his stint in Bigg Boss, was recently arrested by the police.

Prathap was taken into custody for allegedly causing an explosion by throwing highly reactive sodium metal into a farm pond to create content for his YouTube channel.

After spending three days in police custody in connection with the sodium metal explosion case, he was presented before a court on Monday (Dec 16). The Madhugiri JMFC Court ordered Prathap’s judicial custody for 10 days.

The police have also arrested his cameraman Vinay and Prajwal, who supplied the sodium metal. Additionally, an FIR has been registered against the landowner Jitendra Jain, although he has not yet been arrested. Efforts are underway to apprehend him, police had said.
