An article claiming CGHS beneficiaries can now undergo specific treatments at empanelled private hospitals without any referral or permission letter is going viral on social media

Netizens began sharing the news and tagged concerned ministers to confirm the news. However, The Press Information Bureau said, the claim is fake,and Health Ministry has not taken any such decision.

PIB tweeted, “An article claims that CGHS beneficiaries can now undergo specific treatments at empanelled private hospitals without any referral or permission letter. #PIBFactCheck: This claim is #Fake. @MoHFW_INDIA has not taken any such decision.”
