Fact Check: Is Centre giving Rs 1000 under ‘Corona Sahayata Yojana’?

Recently, a message regarding Central government giving Rs 1,000 under the so-called ‘Corona Sahayata Yojana’, was circulating on social media. The message also included a link which users had to click on to get the claimed amount.
However, The Fact Check Unit of Press Information Bureau (PIB) has clarified that the central government is not giving Rs1000 under any of the schemes.

It has clarified that the claim and the link both were fraudulent and warned people against clicking on it
