Bengaluru: A fake government circular is being circulated on social media announcing the closures of schools and colleges from March 15 to 30 in wake of the spike in COVID-19 cases.
Various government departments have confirmed that the circular is fake.
It was reported that the circular is from last year when schools and colleges were asked to close at the beginning of the pandemic.
The dates on the circular have been altered to make it look fresh, a government source reported.
