Vitla: Traffic on Mangaluru-Vitla road was blocked for almost an hour on Thursday after a giant tree got uprooted and toppled across the road.
The incident took place at Kalladka-Kanhangad inter-state highway in Kellinja. Several vehicles were stranded on both sides of the road for over an hour. Luckily, no moving vehicle came under the tree.
The tree was then cut by the residents to clear the road.
