Falling tree kills a man

Brahmavar: A man lost his life after a falling tree crashed down upon him near Kukkehalli milk diary on Thursday night. The deceased is identified as auto rickshaw driver Ravindra Kulal (38), a resident of Shantanjaddu.

The deceased was on his way back home when in order to wait out the heavy rain, he stopped his auto rickshaw near the house of Dinakar Shetty, an acquaintance of his and was standing out in the house verandah. All of a sudden, a tree came crashing down and its branches injured Ravindra critically, thereby claiming his life.

The deceased was also working as a omni driver and is survived by his wife and a three-year-old daughter.

The house belonging to Dinakar Shetty was partially damaged in the incident.
