Family members protest after dead body kept in mortuary decomposes

Mangaluru: Family members of a man who was electrocuted to death on Friday, October 25 staged a protest outside a private hospital in the city after the hospital handed over the decomposed body of the deceased to family.
It may be recalled that Wilson Fernandes (26), died of electrocution near Kallapu, Thokkottu here on Friday, October 25.
Following the incident, Wilson’s body was kept at the mortuary of the hospital. On Sunday when the body was being handed over to the family, the body was completely in a decomposed state. Irked by this the family member staged a protest outside the hospital.
Meanwhile, Ullal MLA UT Khader reached the spot and tried to convince the family members.
