‘FAN’ movie actress volunteers as nurse amid COVID-19 outbreak

New Delhi: While people across the nation have been pledging support to the emergency relief fund ‘PM CARES’ announced by prime minister Modi to fight the coronavirus pandemic, a budding actor has volunteered as a a nurse to help patients fight the COVID-19 disease.
Shikha Malhotra, who featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “Fan”, is volunteering at a Mumbai hospital.
In an Instagram post, Shikha who happens to have a degree in nursing, has urged people with medical degrees to come forward to support the battle against the pandemic.
“Always there to serve the country as a #Nurse as a #entertainer, wherever, however I can. Need your blessings. Please be at home, be safe and support the government, (sic)” reads her Instagram post.
