Bengaluru: Celebrating the birthday of their favourite actor is nothing less than a festival for fans and also hope to get a glimpse of the actor, but Puneeth Rajkumar’s fans were disappointed the police did not let them celebrate Power star ‘s birthday outside his residence due to coronavirus threat.
Power star Puneeth Rajkumar turned 45 on Tuesday, March 17 and many of his fans gathered around his house at midnight to celebrate his birthday, however they were sent back by the police as there is a ban on large gathering in the state.
Strict guidelines against public gatherings were put in place by the Karnataka government to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. The steps taken by the state government to curb mass gathering include shutting down malls, theatres, education institutes and commercial establishments for a week.
It may be recalled that on Saturday, March 14 Puneeth took to Twitter and requested his fans not to travel to Bengaluru for his birthday as there is coronavirus threat.
