Father stabs son later kills himself in Kadaba

Puttur: A verbal fight between a man and son ended with the man attacking his son and then killing himself. This horrendous incident took place at Alankar on Wednesday morning around 8:30 am, September 12th. The deceased man has been identified as Raju Poojary (45).

According to the available information, it is understood that Raju had lost his mental balance recently and on Wednesday he had a verbal fight with his son Rathan (20). Enraged after the fight, Raju stabbed his son. Immediately Rathan was shifted to Puttur hospital.

After attacking his son, Raju cut off his own private parts, slit his neck and committed suicide.

Raju’s body has been shifted to Deralakatte hospital for post mortem. Kadaba police have registered a case in this regard.
