Bengaluru: Deepavali was celebrated across Karnataka on Monday, October 24 with fervour and gaiety.
The sounds of crackers rent the air as people enthusiastically burst fireworks.
Deepavali falls on the 15th day in the month of Kartik and this year the festival of lights is being celebrated in India on October 24.
While diyas, fairylights, lamps, firecrackers and rangoli are common sights on Deepawali.
