Hassan/Mysuru: Due to lack of passengers the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has discontinued some bus services from Hassan and Mysuru to Bengaluru.
About 50 bus trips from Hassan and 64 bus trips from Mysuru to Bangaluru have been cancelled.
The less number of travellers in KSRTC buses has been mainly attributed to the travel time, traffic jams as comared to the lesser commute time and fare of trains by an officer of the corporation.
Authorities have also stated that Hassan KSRTC is suffering losses to the tune of Rs 10 to 12 lakhs a day and almost Rs 3 crore a month.
