Fight breaks out over drinking water at Shirlalu Gram Sabha meeting

Ajekar: A fight broke out between villagers over the issue of drinking water at the first phase Gram Sabha meeting of Shirlalu gram panchayat on Tuesday.
A woman from Mundli village requested the panchayat to make arrangements for providing drinking water. However, some local panchayat members opposed the idea and the two groups had a war of words.
The altercation soon turned into a full-blown fight as the two groups of villagers clashed with each other. Some of the chairs and other furniture were damaged in the incident.
Police who arrived later inquired about those involved in the tussle. A video of the incident is making rounds on social media.
