Film director Santhosh Shetty drowns at Ermai falls

Beltangady: A film director lost his life while he was shooting at Ermai falls near Belthangady here today.

The deceased has been identified as Santhosh Shetty Kateel, director of ‘Kanasu – Kannu Teredaga’ had been to the falls for a photoshoot.

It has been reported that, Shetty slipped and fell into water.

The body was removed with the help of fire brigade and the police.
