Finally TN Chikkarayappa appears before ACB for enquiry on Saturday

Bengaluru: Suspended Managing Director of Karnataka state Cauvery Neeravari Nigama TN Chikkarayappa appeared before Anti Corruption Bureau on Saturday in the state capital for holding alleged unaccounted property and money. After a raid on the residence of the officer, ACB had sent notice to the officer to appear before ACB for further investigation in connection with his unaccounted property. However, the suspended officer avoided the notice in name of ill health by sending a reply to the notices through registered post to ACB.
Meanwhile, Chikkarayappa was moved to Lokayukta special court seeking anticipatory bail in the case. However, the court was adjourned the case and following this he submitted a petition before the high court seeking anticipatory bail. After hearing the petition, the high court had asked ACB not to arrest him till January 9 if he cooperates with the investigation. In the wake of high court order, Chikkarayappa was appeared before ACB.
