On June 29th, the officials of the company participated in a meeting at the DC office and answered the question by State Minister U T Khader, on the delay in the works giving unnecessary trouble to the general public and said that the company was in financial trouble and that efforts to avail bank loan was underway. The works would commence as soon as loan is sanctioned, the officials promised.
Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil, asked the officials to make it clear if the company are unable to complete the work. He also blamed the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for the delay and pointed out that such problems crop up when the Authority fails to have control over the contract agency.
