FIRA re-elects Prof. Narendra Nayak as president

Mangaluru: City based rationalist Prof. Narendra Nayak has been reelected as the President of Federation of Indian Rationalist Associations (FIRA) during its 11th Annual General Body Meeting and national conference held on 5th and 6th January 2019 at Andhrakesari Kalakshethram Ukkunagaram, Vishakpattanam, Andhra Pradesh.

As a crusading rationalist Mr Nayak has led a sustained campaign over the last four decades against superstition and fraud based on irrational beliefs. He is also a consumer rights activist. Recognizing his outstanding contributions in the field of spreading humanist and rationalism in the country, Prof Narendra Nayak was also conferred with a national award instituted by famous rationalist Dr Innayya.
