Fire at Kalaburagi bus depot

Kalaburagi: Depot number two/three of the North Eastern Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NEKRTC) caught fire on Wednesday. Eight buses which were parked at the stand were completely in blaze.
Total of 2000 tires of the buses at the stand were completely gutted and black smoke covered up the place. Fire and Emergency Services Department personnel extinguished fire at a bus depot. As nine fire tenders were pushed into service.
No injuries were reported, but the damaged buses and the burnt tires have amounted a huge loss.
The fire department managed to douse the fire completely after a four-hour operation.
