Fire at Lady Goschen hospital, ICU gutted

Mangaluru: A fire had erupted at government Lady Goschen hospital on Sunday, December 9. Apparently the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was gutted by fire.
The reason behind the fire is suspected to be a short circuit and a gas leakage. Fire-fighters rescued four children who were stuck at the spot.
Fire personnel from Pandeshwar station were pressed into action. As a precautionary measure, people were vacated from the hospital. The situation is currently under control.
