Fire at multi-storey complex in Ludhiana, no loss of life

Ludhiana: A fire broke out at a multi-storey complex on Mall road here early this morning, in which some showrooms were gutted but there was no loss of life in the incident, an official said. Goods and furniture in the showrooms were gutted in the fire, fire brigade officer Bhupinder Singh Sandhu said.
As many as 12 fire tenders were deployed and the flames were doused after two hours, he said. The cause behind the fire could to be electrical short circuit, the official said.
