New Delhi: A fire broke out at a three-storey factory producing plastic bags at Naresh Park area in outer Delhi’s Nangloi early today, but no casualties were reported, fire service officials said.
A call about the blaze was received at 3:55 am and immediately 25 fire tenders were rushed to the spot, they said.
The fire was doused by 8:50 am. However, two fire tenders were still on the spot to carry out the cooling process, a senior official said.
Police suspect that short circuit may be behind the fire and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause.
