Fire breaks out at Syndicate Bank branch in Mysuru

Sagar: A fire broke out at Syndicate bank, located near the Mysuru Café hotel here, suspectedly due to a short circuit during the wee hours of Monday, June 10.
As per reports, the bank ATM’s security guard noticed the fire at around 2.30 am and notified the branch manager Sandeep Kumar. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
While the electrical appliances namely – computers, scanner, passbook printer etc. were destroyed in the fire mishap, no damage was reported to the bank lockers and registers.
Kumar hailed the alertness of the security guard for preventing a major disaster.
