Fire burns more than 30 acre forest area in Chikkamagaluru of Karnataka

Chikkamagaluru: More than 30 acres of forest area has been destroyed at Muduguni in Balehonnur of Chikkamagaluru district on Monday in a fire accident. Still, huge number fire workers have been struggling to extinguish the fire. Thousands of trees including valuable teak wood tress have been destroyed in the fire accident.
The locals expressed their anger against the forest department officials as they failed to reach the accident spot on time even if they received information on the incident from the locals. The exact reason for the fire accident is yet to be known.
