Fire destroys home in Kadaba village, Causes massive damage

Kadaba : A fire accident occurred in a house near Kemmara school in Koila village of Kadaba taluk due to a short circuit and the interior of the house was completely burnt on Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place at Kemmara Abdul Rahiman’s house. The fire started in the bedroom and spread to the entire house.
All the things inside including the cupboard, bed, window, door, fridge, and washing machine were burnt. The wall is cracked on both sides.
The granite in the room where the fire broke out and the tiles in the kitchen were broken. Abdul Rahman has stated in his complaint to the Revenue Department that there has been a loss of around 35 lakh rupees.
The owner of the house, Abdul Rahman, went to his relative’s house with his wife and children, only the elderly mother Sakina was there. Seeing smoke filling the house, he came out and informed the locals. This house was built a year ago.
Locals Salikat, Abubakker, Riyar, Junaid arrived and switched off the house’s electricity connection, cut off the gas supply, and avoided a major disaster. The fire brigade arrived from Puttur and extinguished the fire completely.
Kochla Gram Panchayat president Pushpa Subhas, Member Nazir Pooringa, Koila Village Administrator Seshadri visited and inspected the incident site.
