Bantwal: A fire broke out at an electronic showroom located at Kaikunje Road in BC Road here on Thursday morning.
The incident took place at Priya Electronics and goods worth lakhs of rupees have been destroyed in the mishap.
Fire tenders from Bantwal rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
It is gathered that there were electric bikes on display at the showroom. The exact cause of the incident is not yet known but it is suspected that the fire was caused to a battery explosion.
Bantwal police visited the spot.
