Fire in BSNL godown

A fire broke out in a BSNL godown in Sector V of Salt Lake area here on Tuesday afternoon, a fire official said.
Nobody was injured in the blaze which initially broke out at the open space adjacent to the godown at around 1.40 pm before spreading to the store, he said. ”The fire spread quickly as the godown had inflammable items. It is under control now”, the fireman said.
The cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained, he added.
