Fire mishap at Tekkatte

Tekkatte: More than half-an-acre of land was burnt after a short circuit occurred in front of the petrol bunk along NH 66 at Tekkatte leading to the fire on Tuesday evening.
The fire was noticed by Harish Nayak of the Election Flying Squad and Kundapur police station ASI Sudha Prabhu, Manju D and Surendra who immediately informed Kundapur fire brigade. The public also provided assistance to douse the fire.
