First phase of Operation Kamala successful: BSY

Bengaluru: BJP state president and opposition leader BS Yeddyurappa on Tuesday said that the first phase of the Operation Kamala was successful.

The statement comes in the backdrop of two Independent MLAs withdrawing their support for the Congress-JD(S) coalition government. 

“Operation Kamala is the reason why the two MLAs withdrew their support,” said Yeddyurappa. B Nagendra, Ramesh Jarkiholi, Kampli Ganesh, Umesh Jadav, Pratap Gowda is likely to resign soon, he informed.

Yeddyurappa also hinted that preparations for the second phase of operation Kamala is underway.
