Five arrested for killing colleague over harassment

Bengaluru: The Karnataka police arrested five persons for killing their colleagues who allegedly harassed them.

The deceased has been identified as Dhansingh Dhame, (23). The arrested are Dinesh Singh Dhame, Sher Singh Dhame, Deepak Dhame , Narendra Dhame, and a juvenile.

As per reports, Dhansingh Dhame used to assault the accused and humiliate them from their college days, this continued even after they started working.

Last week when Dhansingh in an inebriated state started harassing them, they took him out on the pretext of getting him cigarettes and killed him. They then dumped his body in a stormwater drain.

The murder came to light when passers-by noticed a highly decomposed body floating in the drain. While investigating the matter the accused confessed to their crime.

Police have taken the accused into custody. The minor has been sent to remand home.
