Five of family killed in road accident in Faridkot

Faridkot (Pb):  Five members of a family were killed and two seriously injured when their car rammed into a parked truck on Kotkapura-Moga highway here early today, police said. The accident occurred arund 5.30 am when the family was returning from Malerkotla after paying obeisance at a religious place, they said.

Five persons, including three women, died on the spot. The two injured were rushed to Fardikot Government Hospital, they said. The deceased have been identified as Soma Kaur (45), Kaalu (12), Davinder Kaur (36), Tarsem Singh (30) and Bhundi Kaur (38), police said.
