Five Research Scholars from Spain Die after Tragic Road Accident in Kolar

Kolar: Five foreigners lost their lives while seven others seriously injured in a goods lorry-tempo traveller collision at Idigapalli in Punganur near Andhra Pradesh – Karnataka boarder of Kolar district on Saturday.
The deceased died on the accident spot while the injured foreigners are being treated at a local hospital here. A 12 member team from Spain reached India recently on a research project and the team was on its way to Pondicherry through Ananthapura road. All the deceased and injured are research scholars from Spain. The local police have registered a case on the incident.
