Flood-like situation in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The coastal districts witnessed heavy rains. Parts of Mangalore city was seen submerged in water.
Over 20 vehicles were seen sinking in water near Bejai and Hampankatte.
Traffic snarls were seen on few roads of the city.
An under construction house collapsed at Pumpwell and a floodlike situation was witnessed at Padil.
According to meteorological department, Bengaluru, thunder storm likely to affect the district within next 3 hours accompanied with light to moderate spells of rain and strong winds reaching 30 kmph or more.
