Flood Water Kills 10K Chickens Near Bengaluru

Bengaluru: As many as 10,000 chickens died as artificial flood water entered into a chicken farm on Tuesday at Giddenahalli near Bengaluru. The farm owner, Annapayya incurred a loss of Rs 15 lakh in the incident after water entered to his farm unexpectedly following heavy rainfall activities.
Low lying areas in Mysuru, Bengaluru flooded with water following heavy rainfall activities reported in on Tuesday late night. Koppal has also witnessed heavy showers for the past two days and severe crop damage reported in various parts of the district. Normal life has almost stalled in Bengaluru again on Wednesday following heavy rainfall which caused traffic jam at various parts of the city.
